About Our Work

Our Approach

At Thrive, we prioritize partnership and collaboration, ensuring we work alongside your team every step of the way.

We focus on meaningful knowledge transfer and training so that staff feel confident and supported, while implementing practical systems that are easy to manage long term.

Above all, we emphasize sustainable solutions that create lasting impact, rather than temporary fixes.

Leadership Training and
Capacity Development

Thrive Project Solutions delivers customized leadership and capacity development training designed to support Elected Leadership, Administration, Staff, and Youth within First Nations organizations and communities.

Our sessions are tailored to the unique goals, governance structures, and priorities of each Nation, with a focus on strengthening leadership capacity, organizational alignment, communication, governance understanding, knowledge transfer, and long-term community development.

Training may include governance and administration roles and responsibilities, leadership development, communications and community engagement, strategic planning, digital literacy, records and information management, emergency communications preparedness, youth leadership, and workplace capacity building.

Sessions can be delivered in-person, virtually, or through hybrid formats and are designed to be practical, engaging, and community-focused.

How Thrive Supports Nations

Many organizations hire consultants who build systems but leave teams unable to manage them— our approach is different.

We provide hands-on project support, clear and structured implementation processes, and dedicated staff training with knowledge transfer built in every step of the way.

We also offer ongoing support when needed, with the ultimate goal of fostering long-term independence and building sustainable capacity within the Nation.

Ownership and Sovereignty

We believe Nations should retain full ownership of their digital infrastructure.

This means the Nation maintains control over its domain name, hosting account, website content, and full administrative access.

Our role is to support this ownership by providing development, training, and ongoing guidance as needed.

Youth Leadership and Engagement

We recognize the importance of empowering the next generation of leaders through meaningful youth engagement, mentorship, and capacity-building initiatives.

We work with Nations to support youth through interactive workshops, leadership development sessions, governance education, digital literacy training, cultural knowledge transfer activities, sports and recreation programming, and community engagement initiatives designed to build confidence, strengthen communication skills, encourage healthy movement, and create safe and supportive spaces for youth to share their voices.

We also support youth camps and community-based activities that encourage connection, learning, leadership development, and intergenerational knowledge transfer.

Our approach focuses on creating inclusive, culturally grounded environments where youth feel empowered to develop practical skills, explore future leadership opportunities, and strengthen connections within their communities.
